How to create your own Cuenqueando Chicken Coop. Chapter I

We have been wanting to share this new project with you for months: the Gallinero Cuenqueando!!

During confinement our friend, and shepherd from Rozalén del Monte, Bernabé, gave us some eggs from his chickens and we decided to incubate them. From that first experience we had four chickens and two roosters. We gave one of the roosters to Barnabas as a thank you for his hens, and with our little chicken family we started our little Cuenqueando Chicken Coop.

Imagine those gray days that we managed to add a little color to with this project. A rural project to which we dedicate a lot of love and enthusiasm and which now, in its second generation, we want to share with you. If you want to start a chicken coop to have happy chickens, we are here to help you with recommendations and tricks to make these projects a reality.

The rural world allows you these little things that when you live in a city seem unthinkable, but maybe you have a small terrace or a garden where you can have 1 or 2 chickens, and if you are going to take care of it and make it happy, go ahead! We encourage you to relate to your environment, to nature in a closer, more intimate way. We have created it together with Casa Rural El Almendro in Rozalén del Monte (Cuenca), there we want our guests to enjoy rural life to its full extent.
